Auto-Accept vs Manual Approval
Default auto-accept behavior, manual review workflow, and pending affiliate email notifications.
Control whether new affiliate signups can start promoting immediately or wait for your review.
Auto-accept (default)
When Auto-accept is on (the default), new affiliates get active status on signup. Their referral links and promo codes work immediately.
Best for: open programs, customer referral campaigns, low fraud risk.
Manual review workflow
Turn off Auto-accept in Settings. New affiliates land in Pending status:
- Affiliate completes portal signup
- You review them under Affiliates → Pending
- Click Activate to approve, or leave them inactive
Pending affiliates cannot earn commissions until activated.
Email notifications for pending affiliates
Enable Email me on new pending affiliates in Settings to get notified when the queue needs attention.
Toggle auto-accept requires Admin or Owner role.
