Referred Revenue Cap and Usage

What counts toward usage, billing month reset, USD conversion, warnings, grace period, and auto-upgrade.

Your Partnersify subscription includes a monthly referred revenue cap. Usage tracks attributed sale volume, not commission dollars paid to affiliates.

What counts as referred revenue

Usage increases when a Stripe sale is attributed to an affiliate.

Does not count:

  • Sales with no affiliate
  • Manually adding an affiliate after the fact
  • Removing an affiliate does not reduce usage

Non-USD sales

Sale totals convert to USD before adding to usage when the sale currency is not USD.

Example: a €1,000 referred sale adds the USD equivalent toward your cap, regardless of your payout currency.

This is a separate concept from the currency conversion for payouts to your affiliates, which is in the currency you choose in your portal settings. See Multi-Currency Commissions for how foreign exchange works there.

80% warning and grace period

When usage crosses 80% of your cap, the account Owner receives a warning.

If usage exceeds 100%, a 3-day grace period starts. Commissions still calculate during grace.

After grace expires, new commissions are paused until the billing month resets or you upgrade.

Auto-upgrade

Owners can enable Auto-upgrade in Settings. When the cap is exceeded, Partnersify attempts to move you to the next plan level that fits your usage.

Requires a valid payment method on file. Toggle is Owner-role only.
