Fix Attribution and Manual Edits
Reassign affiliates, edit commissions and due dates, and understand what manual edits do and don't affect.
Automation covers most cases. Edge cases are fixable from the sale detail page (Admin or Owner).
Reassign the affiliate on a sale
Open Sales → select the sale → change the affiliate → save.
Partnersify recalculates commissions for line items using current rules.
Edit a commission amount
On a line item, use Edit commission to override the calculated value, useful for goodwill adjustments or correcting a rule mismatch.
Once you manually edit a commission, the sale is locked from future automatic recalculation.
Edit the due date
Adjust when a commission becomes payable, for example, a goodwill extension or internal policy exception.
Locking sales
Once you manually edit a sale, subsequent Stripe events for that sale won't overwrite your commissions. Plan manual edits carefully and document internally why overrides were made.
